PROPONENTS OF THE RECALL-ELECTION SCORED against
the incumbent administration of Mayor Dennis Socrates
when they successfully drew a substantial number
of the City’s barangay officials in a Preparatory
Recall Assembly held at the San Jose Covered Gym
in Barangay San Jose, this City Tuesday this week.
At least three hundred forty-seven (347) barangay
officials of the City’s sixty-six (66) barangays
have allegedly supported, approved and affixed their
signatures in a resolution calling for a recall
election of Atty. V. Dennis Socrates as City Mayor.

last week vehemently denied triple A Foundation’s
claim that the money intended for their member-beneficiaries
in Palawan will be channeled through the RCBC.

THE SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN last week ratified
and confirmed the validity and legality of the approved
municipal ordinance of the Municipality of El Nido,
Palawan recently that seeks to provide reward-incentives
to groups or individuals responsible for the apprehension
of the illegal fishermen-poachers within their municipal
waters-jurisdiction. Said approved municipal ordinance
was submitted before the Provincial Board for approval
and confirmation.
